國際拉花錦標賽冠軍Con Haralambopoulos

如果說,中國人對茶情有獨鍾的話,咖啡在澳洲人和意大利的生活中,有著不可替代的地位。如果你去澳洲旅行,會看到街上大大小小的咖啡店。墨爾本人甚至把咖啡變為文化,這兩年,墨爾本的咖啡店暴升。

離墨爾本市中心不遠的Richmond,有一間7 Grams Café咖啡店,店主Con Haralambopoulos是2006-2007年澳洲咖啡拉花比賽的冠軍,2008年他代表澳洲參加在丹麥哥本哈根(Copenhagen)舉行的國際拉花錦標賽(SCAE World Latte Art Championship),并獲得了冠軍。Con從事咖啡業已有廿多年,卻只在五年前才學習拉花。2008年的國際拉花錦標賽有25個國家參加,最後六強,除了澳洲之外,分別來自新西蘭、日本、韓國、俄羅斯,Con以0.5分險勝。


拉花比賽的評分標準,口感評分佔50%,圖案的對稱與平衡佔50%。另外,對製作速度的要求亦很高,首先要在8分鐘之內製造六杯不同的咖啡。要造出美麗的葉子拉花圖案,要用非常光滑柔順的牛奶,牛奶越滑,圖案便可越複雜。Con的經驗是,造一杯好凡咖啡不難,難就難在持之以恆,造一千杯咖啡,每杯都能保持同一水準,那才是成功。
