Hundred of people packed the Grand Opening at Holly Brown yesterday to witness Hong Kong’s newest and most sophisticated coffee house opening, as well as sharing Latte Art experience with Scottie Callaghan, 2nd runner-up of the 2010 World Barista Champion in London.

This 2-storey 4,000 square feet cafe opened in the middle of  Hong Kong financial district showcase a big coffee roaster inside the shop, aim to provide freshly roasted quality coffee to the consumers of Hong Kong.  Mr. Raymond Tsui, banker and owner of Holly Brown Coffee has recruited the two of the three 2009 Hong Kong Grand Barista Champions, Ms. Tracy Kwok and Mr. King Chan, as baristas running the shop. Tracy Kwok, the 2009 Hong Kong Grand Barista Champion, formerly employed at Epoch Coffee Bar and Desserterie, have been a much sought-after item at since her win. The shop also use the world-class Victoria Arduino (aka the Rolls Royce) espresso machine.

Australian singer-song-writer came to present the theme song of Holly Brown.  Celebrity Jessica C also appeared in the Grand Opening, as well as many cafe owners, managers, baristas and coffee lovers. The event was a highlight for the coffee industry.

Besides the very best of coffee, Holly Brown serve some of Hong Kong’s finest hand-made Gelato ice-cream, as well as glamorous colourful cupcakes. You can custom-built your Gelato flavor.
