It’s bigger than coffee: Starbucks Celebrates 40 Years
Starbucks Coffee Hong Kong will be introducing a series of exciting offers to reward customers for their on-going support including “Here’s-to-You Thursday”, starting 10th March, every Thursday throughout March.
For the launch of the program on 10th March at 4:00-5:00pm across all stores in Hong Kong, each customer will be rewarded with one free lollipop for every purchase.
On the following Thursday (17th March), customers will receive a free upgrade for every purchase of Cocoa Cappuccino in tall size or above.To further celebrate and mark the 40th anniversary celebrations, Starbucks will also introduce Tribute Blend™, an unexpected blend of four different coffee beans including Aged Sumatra that is semi-washed and aged, Sun-dried Ethiopian coffee that is naturally processed, and washed coffees from Papua New Guinea and Colombia. Starbucks VIA® Ready Brew will also be launched for the first time in Hong Kong in April, a breakthrough innovation and new category in coffee that tastes just like a fresh-brewed cup of Starbucks® coffee.
Starbucks Coffee opened its first store opened at Pike Place, Seattle 40 years ago. Today, Starbucks celebrates not only 40 years of great coffee, but more importantly, four decades of effort in promoting coffee culture and individual moments of connection with its customers and partners (employees). Starbucks Coffee made its debut in Hong Kong in May 2000, with the first store launched at Exchange Square in Central. To date, there are more than 110 stores in Hong Kong and Macau.
