由香港咖啡文化促進會(HKCCEA)「咖啡街」主辦的Home Brew Master 2021,第三屇手沖咖啡比賽,將於2021年4月30日至5月2日(下星期五、六、日),在九龍灣零碳天地舉行,目的為發掘多一些民間咖啡高手。比賽會以淘汰賽形式,抽籤決定各位參賽者一對一比賽。大會提供指定比賽豆,選手六可借用大會提供的設備如磨豆機、智能電子磅、控溫手沖水壺、濾杯濾紙等等。參賽者有十分鐘時間即場沖泡一壺200ml或以上的黑咖啡。

今年賽事分三日進行,9位評審名單下,陣容鼎盛,排名不分先後。他們將會以味道(Aroma, Flavor, Aftertaste, Acidity, Body, Balance, Overall)及技巧(Workflow, Hygiene, Overall)作標準評分。

幸運的是,大約8年前有機會喝了杯來自薩爾瓦多的精品咖啡。它改變了Bryan對咖啡的印象,也推使他再進⼀步⾏了解咖啡知識。現在也是 CQI Q-Grader,COE International Jury,Coffee Roaster。為了找到好的咖啡⾖,Bryan會去咖啡莊園,跟咖啡農溝通,然後交換咖啡信息和市場反饋。
